I had this problem you describe when I set the scaler to non.Ĭheck your graphic's card control panel (which one are you using) find an option to set scaling to "maintain aspect ratio". Any advice? In DOSBox conf file, make sure scaler is set to some value (like normal2x). I wonder if I am applying the compatibility settings to the right exe or if Im barking up the wrong tree altogether. Windows 10 allows you switch the Command Prompt to full-screen by pressing Alt+ Enter. You can use the following workaround to make the window take up the whole screen, but it wont be true full-screen. exe for the games and disabled scaling for these games and also set run in 640x480 but this does not seem to fix the issue. This means that you can no longer make the Command Prompt full-screen in Windows Vista, 7, 8, or 8.1. I currently run my desktop display at 3840x2160 with scaling set to 200% I am conciously aware that this can affect some games so I have gone into what I think is the. I can run DosBox in a window, about 1/4 the screen size using the Alt Tab key. I do not understand the details but when you change screen modes you basically have to exit Dosbox and then reinstate Dosbox. It IS full screen as I am able to At-Tab out of it to a window. When you use DosBox in windows 10 you have what appears to be a full screen. For whatever reason a good proportion of older GOG games (examples: Alien Breed, Sensible World of Soccer.), all appear as small window at center of a black bordered full screen display. Was hoping some wonderful person could assist.
